The children are working on their own soh la mi songs.  Red nose day has been an inspiration

The children have been practising their solfa notation on the reduced stave.  Mrs White had a fright is a favourite.

 

 

 

The children have been exploring songs from different cultures. Listen to Land of the Silver Birch from Canada, complete with sung ostinato and played ostinato in the keyboard. Good ear training skills from the Kodaly approach to music education.
